Heather Renee “Nae Nae” Haywood, 39, of OKC passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013. She was born 01/27/1974 in OKC to Carrol Bob Haywood and Pamela Sue Griffith Haywood. Nae Nae went to Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur, OK and graduated from Belle Isle High School. Nae Nae touched so many lives, to know her was to love her. She will continue to do so through OU Pediatric Research Program. She was an angel on earth and now she is an angel with wings in heaven. Nae Nae was preceded in death by her father, Bob Haywood, Godfather, Jimmy Nix and Uncle Jerry. She leaves precious memories with her mother, Pamela Haywood, brother, Eddie Harrison, sister, Leslie Lee Harrison, nephews, Eddie Ryan, Daemyn Lee, Austin, Jesse and Eddie, nieces, Kianne, Kaytlyn and Abby and many cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones. Wayne Henry (Hank) Schultz, Jr., died painlessly and in God’s merciful timing on Friday morning, March 15, at 11:58 AM surrounded by love and peace. Hank was born in Oklahoma City on April 8, 1964, to Wayne Henry and Jeanne Marie Goodwin Schultz. He attended Casady School and Putnam City Schools in OKC, Brush Ranch School in New Mexico, El Dorado High School in Arkansas, and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, graduating with a degree in Political Science. Following a brief time in Washington, DC, Hank moved to Little Rock where he worked as a courier for the Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruninski and Calhoon Law Firm for 19 years and 11 months. Hank had many challenges in his life which he had never shared until just recently that made him the very special, loyal, loving, man of few words that he was. The Hankster had many hobbies and interests including collecting comic books, political literature and memorabilia, and Charlie Brown items, going to movies, and always being available to help a friend. Hankster was a staunch Republican and huge supporter of Ronnie and George W. Hank loved watching sports events being a diehard Sooner, Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Yankees, and Notre Dame fan. Hank was preceded in death by his best friend and brother, Randy, his second best friend and mother, Jeanne Marie, his father, Wayne Sr., who was Hank’s favorite sports partner even though they totally disagreed on everything. Hank is survived by sister, Robin Fearnow, of OKC, nephew, Brent Fearnow from Norman, second mom, Norma Schultz of OKC, his beloved feline children, Zuggy and Einstein, and many loving cousins and friends. Many thanks to Integris Hospice of Oklahoma County and Right at Home for their short, loving care and commitment. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 10:00 am at the Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock, AR. (5509 John F. Sylvia Orline Ladwig was born Sept. 24, 1924 to Hannah Spring Weber and Willie Weber in Okeene, Okla. She passed from this life Feb. 25, 2013 at the age of 88. In May 1942 she graduated from Okeene High School. On June 21, 1924 she married Eugene Ray Ladwig of Loyal, Okla. After Gene returned from World War II he began working for a seismographic oil company. They lived in different states which Sylvia enjoyed. She was always a friend to the wives of the other workers. When the younger mothers needed help, she was there. Her cooking skills were greatly admired as well. When Gene retired they moved to Loyal, Okla. She enjoyed attending the Kingfisher Church of the Nazarene. She was a wonderful example of a Christian mother. In her later years she lived in Oklahoma City and Bethany. Her activities included reading and watching different sporting events. Her favorite teams were the OU Sooners, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Oklahoma City Thunder. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Benny, Alfred, Danny, Lester and Archie, sisters Ruth, and Alma, and grandson Marc. Survivors include daughter Jean Ann Ross(Vern)Yukon, Okla, son George William Ladwig( wife Belinda), Diamond Bar, Calif., brother Tom Weber (wife Sue) Enid, Okla., seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Albert Arthur Hansens, Early on February 20, 2013, Albert Arthur Hansens passed from this life to rejoin his beloved wife Lila and continue their happily ever after. Albert was born on July 24, 1924 to A. A. Hansens and Ellen Bryant Hansens near Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Albert met his beautiful bride, Lila Nell Redwine, at the Big Four School near Kingfisher, Oklahoma in 1940. They were married on June 2, 1944. Albert was a hard-working man who excelled at a variety of jobs. His work with the Atlantic Seismograph Company took him and Lila to many places as far away as Lusk, Wyoming. After they returned to Oklahoma, Albert found employment in many areas including as a lineman, a carpenter, a construction worker, a farmer, and a small business owner. He and Lila owned numerous businesses over the years. They owned & operated a laundry in Hennessey from 1949-1953. After leaving Hennessey, they operated service stations in Vici, and later owned a grocery store in Slapout. In 1962 they moved to a farm near Yukon. Albert loved farming and spending time with his fellow farmers at the Farmers Cooperative, continuing to do so even after retiring from his own farm. During his retirement, he also continued to work occasionally, doing carpentry work for the Wright brothers or helping his Co-Op friends on their farms. Albert also loved to make people laugh. His sisters have many memories of his comic efforts to make them smile when things were tough. Even those who helped care for Albert at the assisted living center during the final years of his life said his ability to make them laugh would be truly missed. His hobbies were fishing, woodcarving, and playing his harmonica. His woodcarving also helped to bring in extra income for his family. The house often echoed with the melody of his favorite songs such as “Wildwood Flower.” Albert is survived by his sons Bobby Hansens and wife Bonita, Jerry Hansens and wife Carla; granddaughters, Janie (Maka) Hansen, Cindy Alexander, Kristie Sproul, and Tammy Hughart; sisters, Alice Dowers and Hazel Johnson; brother John Hansens; and 12 great-grandchildren. Claude Ray Kaufman, 62, of Woodward, OK, passed away February 4, 2013 in OKC. He was born in Lawton, OK to Clarence Raymond Kaufman and Alta Loree Green Kaufman on January 16, 1951. Claude proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked in the oil field and then opened his business Charg-N-Start in Woodward, OK. Claude loved his work and he helped the whole community. Claude is survived by his first daughter, Tisha Kaufman Bremner and husband Kendall, granddaughter Breanne Kaufman, great granddaughter Lyla Millet and first wife Sharon Michaud, all of Maine. Daughters, Kyla Kaufman of OKC, Casey Kaufman Nester and husband David, grandsons William Cole Nester, Wade Garrett Nester and Gabriel Raye Nester of Yukon, OK, and second wife Audrey Caruthers Kaufman of OKC. Sisters, Norma Kennedy Bennett of Lawton, OK, Louise Winterhalter of Houston, TX, Sandra Williams and husband Fred of Las Vegas. Michel Don Howard, 70, of Chickasha, was called home to be with his maker Saturday 02/02/2013. He was born to the late E. H. Howard, and Vera Christine Howard, 12/28/1942 in Bray OK. Don graduated from Marlow High School in 1960, and joined the United States Air Force in 1966. He married his wife Laura Ann Spangler Howard on 09/28/1966 in Burkburnett TX, and lived together in Wichita KS before relocating to Chickasha, OK in 1970; Don worked at Mayo Tire, Livingston Machinery, and Stallion Trailer where he retired in 2001. Don is survived by his wife, four children, Michael Howard of Laramie WY, Sherril Givens and husband Anthony of Chickasha OK, Kathren Clayton and husband Rob of Lexington OK, and Charlie Howard and wife Dawn of Blanchard OK. One sister Sharron Allen and husband Mike of Newcastle OK, two brothers Freddie Howard and wife Ruth of Bryan TX, and Eddie Howard and wife Fayrene of Chickasha OK. Eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gerard Ignatius Vrtis, 51 years old, resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away, January 27th 2013 at Oklahoma University Medical Center from cancer. He was born in Cary, Illinois, February 10, 1961, the son of Thomas and Joanne Vrtis. Gerry and family relocated to Michigan and he graduated from Waterford High School. Gerry's chosen career path was in the building trades, working as a Construction Supervisor for predominantly large-scale home builders. He loved working with his hands and helped friends and family with remodeling assignments. He also enjoyed assisting in the construction of liturgical furnishings and was especially proud of these contributions during his declining health. Throughout his lifetime, Gerry enjoyed the outdoors where he was in his element whether it was fishing and hunting with friends, taking his nieces and nephews skating and sledding, or taking his children to the mountains when they lived in Nevada. His happiest memories were those connected with nature in whichever state he resided – Illinois, Michigan, Nevada, and finally Oklahoma. Gerry loved making a bonfire and sharing stories and was always up for a game of Hand and Foot, the family card game, or a sports discussion. Gerry is survived by three brothers, Thomas (Mercedes) Vrtis, Richard (Rebecca) Vrtis , and William (Deborah) Vrtis; two children, daughter Sydney Vrtis and son Patrick Vrtis; nieces Tatiana Vrtis and Susie Chadwick, and nephews David Vrtis, WilliamVrtis, Thomas Sanchez Vrtis, Daniel Vrtis, Matthew Vrtis, Robert Vrtis, and Eric Vrtis. Ronnie Hampton, 54, of OKC, went home to his heavenly Father Nov. 14, 2012. Ronnie lived life loving music, playing guitar with his friends and performing in various bands they formed. He also loved and looked forward to all of his numerous camping and fishing trips. He was a happy, fun-loving person growing up and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always there for his mother when she needed anything. As his health declined in later years, he continued helping others when he could. Ronnie is survived by his mother Gayle Hampton who loved him very much. His brother Mike Hampton and his wife Pam, their children Alissa and Michael and their granddaughter Julian. He is also survived by all of his cousins in Broken Bow, OK and Texas and his long time childhood friends, Bryan Mitchki and Tim Renshaw. Many thanks to Peggy Ford and her daughters who did so many nice things for Ronnie over the years. He loved them. He loved his Lord. Harold Lee Bowen, Jr., the son of the late Harold L. Bowen, Sr. and Betty J. McLemore, began the sunrise of his life on December 20, 1962 in Memphis, TN. Harold accepted Christ at an early age and united with Second Baptist Church, Monrovia, CA. Harold was active in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and the Youth Department. From an early age, Harold excelled academically and was in classes for gifted minds throughout elementary and middle school. He also had an unusual gift with drafting in art form, winning various drawing competitions for his sight and how it translated from pen to paper. Harold attended Arcadia High School in CA, where he graduated with a 4.0 average, and received a scholarship in business administration to the University of Southern California. Harold continued his education at USC, but in his 4th and last year, he became ill and relocated to Norman, OK. Harold entered the sunset of his life on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in the morning at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, aunts and uncles. He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Betty McLemore of OKC; three sisters: Renee Houston, Dana (Eddie), and Michelle Sherman, all of OKC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John W. Learned, Our father, was born April 15, 1929 in Lawrence Kansas and passed from this earth on February 27, 2012, in Oklahoma City. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Emery, his mother Georgia Hansen, and his loving wife, Juanita Lincoln HowlingBuffalo and brother Eddie. John is survived by his ten children, Johnny Buck, Chet Howard and wife Kari, Christina Dawn, Lori Jenine, Matt Nevins and wife Jill, Newt Emory and wife Joann, George Stanley and wife Cathy, Brent Leroy and Mischell, Alida Sue and Jeff and Alicia Rose. His Grandchildren, Kendall and husband Chad, Robert, Taryn, Kristopher, Chase, Candice, Julian, Olen and Gabrielle, and his brothers George, Albert, Bob and sister Martha. He was a National and Internationally known artist with works in both private and public collections. His art work ranged from miniature to monumental and his Sequoia bust was presented to Mexico by the Eisenhower administration. His first love was the ethnology of the American Indian and that theme dominated the majority of his work. He helped the major universities in Oklahoma Establish foundries at their institutions and was a demonstrator and speaker at the First International Bronze Conference. He ghosted for numerous artists and owned his own bronze casting foundry where he produced his own work and work for other artists. A private family funeral service was held in Oklahoma City, OK.

He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and married the love of his life Colleen on March 26, 1976. Glenn was the owner of “Uncle Willie’s Donuts” located downtown OKC. Cheryl Turner, 53, of Moore, OK left this world too soon August 16,
2011. She was born in OKC, OK on March 23, 1958 to LD Youngblood and
Betty Virginia (Tate) Youngblood. Cheryl worked as a surgical
Registered Nurse at several different hospitals, but she especially
enjoyed working at Childrens’ Hospital with her smallest patients. She
was a beautiful person inside and out and will be deeply missed by all
who knew her. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father; step father,
RC Angle and infant daughter Terri Virginia Taylor. She leaves precious
memories with her adoring husband Greg Haubrich of the home; loving
mother, Betty Virginia Angle of OKC; beautiful daughters; Angela Ranae

Jackie Dale Shelton, 07/22/1937 ~ 07/31/2011, 74, of Union City, OK, left this world
for his mansion in Heaven, after a short battle with cancer. He was born July 22, 1937 in Shady Point, OK
to Noah Shelton and Lula Lee Winter-Shelton.
Jackie proudly served our Country in the United States Navy. After his military service, he retired as a
sheet metal worker at Tinker Field. He
also worked as a truck driver and for Lucky Star Casino. Jackie was preceded in death by his parents,
wife, Shelby Jean; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He leaves precious memories with his wife, Suzie, of the home; 3
daughters, Kris Shelton of the home, Cheryl Noel & Larry of Yukon, and
Tania Miller & Pete of Yukon; 1 son, Mike Kennedy of Yukon; 2 brothers,
Ronald Dean Shelton & Jay Shelton; 2 stepsons, Jay & Chan Maritt; 6
grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a large extended family and many
special friends he worked with over the years.

Mary Vaughan Gallagher, 97, of Edmond, OK went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday July 8, 2011. Mary was born in Keytesville, MO to Roy Warrington Cropper and Elizabeth Samuelson Vaughan (Cropper) on June 21, 1914. She was the 2nd of 3 children. She was a 6th grade elementary school teacher in the Capitol Hill area for several years. Mary was married June 9, 1939 in OKC to Dr. Clarence Alfred Lee Gallagher. And to this union they had 2 daughters. She was a long standing member of Crown Heights Christian Church of OKC. She was a proud member of the UDC Real Great Granddaughters Club & United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was also an active participant in numerous local and national organizations. She had an avid love of history and family genealogy. She was preceded in death by her husband; older twin brother, James Marshall Cropper; sister, Bertha Vaughan Carey and daughter, Elizabeth Anne Gallagher. She leaves precious memories with daughter, Mary Mainus and her husband Danny; granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth Gee; cousin, Ann Hathaway; niece, Debra Bennett; nephew, Donald Carey; grand niece, Becki Litton; grand nephew, Billy Bennett. Dorothy Jean Clonts, Blackwell, OK native, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on October 5, 1944 in Blackwell, OK to Lois Lorene Trent& John Ira Sigler. She married Dairl Gene Clonts on January 10, 1965 in Blackwell, OK. To this union two children were born: Darla Avra of Sapulpa OK and Neal Clonts of Oklahoma City, OK. Dorothy was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked at Blackwell Regional Hospital for many years and later transferred to Saint Joseph Medical Center where she retired in 1998. During her retirement she owned and operated a motel in Anderson, MO. She then owned and operated an RV/Campground in Westville, OK. Dorothy is survived by her husband Dairl; her children and their spouses, Perry and Darla Avra, Neal and Krista Clonts; one brother, John Michael Sigler of Jefferson City, MO; and six grandchildren, Aaron Avra, Ethan Avra, Logan Moore-Clonts, Rylee Clonts, Cooper Clonts and Tanner Clonts; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Aubrey (Butch) and Steve Sigler. Dorothy was an avid collector of bunnies and enjoyed reading. She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church of Westville, OK. But most importantly; Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed dearly. A graveside service has been scheduled for 11 am Thursday, May 26th, in Oakdale Cemetery, Paden, OK. The service will be officiated by Mark Veenker. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
